One of the important things to remember is that fat loss does not always follow a steady downward trajectory, it will trend up and down over time. We are focused on ‘fat loss’, not just weighing less. ‘Weight’ on the scales will fluctuate hourly, let alone daily due to many factors - weighing the contents of your digestive tract, muscle gain, hydration levels, when you last went to the bathroom.
It is also important to remember that we are aiming to change your overall body composition – that is increasing lean muscle whilst losing body fat. This is not something that regular bathroom scales can accurately reflect which is also why we encourage you to complete waist measurements as these can be helpful in visualizing your progress.
